Scope of the job

– Production welding to drawing
– Set and operate welding equipment
– Work to production schedule’s
– Maintain a high level of quality and self-inspection
– Work within a small team and also on your own
– Produce ore production parts (one off’s)
– Operate hand tools related to welding to include: grinders, files etc.

Desirable Skills

Fork lift truck licence
First aid certificate

Qualifications

Any qualification related to welding

Experience

Have worked in a production environment, able to read/work to engineering drawings. All welding will be MIG but a competent TIG welder would be an advantage.

Parts & Sales Order Processing

Due to retirement a position will shortly be available within our organisation.

Scope of the job

The successful candidate must be computer literate and have good communication skills. Experience in the agricultural machinery industry would be an advantage but, not essential. The ability to work as part of a team or initiate own operational decisions is essential.

Kidd Farm Machinery designs, develops and manufactures products that are distributed within the UK and 20 overseas markets. Overseeing parts sales, goods inward and whole goods outward is therefore a key role.

Training and continued support as necessary will be available.
